YY Vertical – Sandwich Base Hangboard Holder

The YY Vertical SandwichBase is a drill-free doorway mounting system designed to install hangboards securely with a stable, semi-over-door positioning.
It is suited for climbers who want a removable setup with more clearance than fully in-frame systems.

What this solves
Many climbers need a stable hangboard setup without drilling, but fully in-door systems can limit space and usability, especially for taller users.

How this solves it
The wood + steel arc-boutement system clamps into the door frame while partially resting on the edge, creating a rigid and stable structure positioned slightly higher than in-frame systems.

Why this tool
Compared to fully in-door mounts, this design offers better clearance underneath, making it more comfortable for taller users. At the same time, it remains drill-free and easy to install, while providing a very stable training base.
