Petzl's Grigri +

Get the edge of assisted belaying with the feature-rich Petzl GRIGRI®+.
This cam-assisted blocking belay device (200 g) includes an anti-panic handle and a dedicated top-rope learning mode via a lockable selector knob, making it safer and easier to take up slack while coaching or learning.

Suitable for lead belay and top-rope in the gym or outdoors, and reinforced for intensive use with a stainless-steel wear plate for extra durability.
Compatible with 8.5 – 11 mm dynamic single ropes (optimized 8.9 – 10.5 mm).

Reliable blocking engages automatically under load, while the 3:1 ergonomic lowering handle gives smooth, effortless descent control. If pulled too hard, the anti-panic system stops the descent instantly for extra safety — perfect for instructors, releasable sessions, or learning partners.
