Petzl - OK Ball lock

The Petzl OK Oval Carabiner (BALL-LOCK) is a symmetrical locking carabiner designed for optimal alignment with pulleys, ascenders, and rope devices.
It is suited for climbers and technicians who need clean, stable connections in pulley and rope systems.

What this solves
Standard carabiners can misalign devices, leading to inefficient loading and unstable setups.

How this solves it
The oval shape keeps devices centered, ensuring:

• optimal load distribution
• smooth rotation of attached tools
• stable system alignment

Why this tool
Unlike asymmetric carabiners, this is built for device compatibility:

• oval shape → ideal for pulleys and ascenders
• BALL-LOCK → fast, secure operation
• smooth interior → reduces snagging and friction

It is designed for clean, efficient mechanical systems.

Best for
Beginner / Advanced / Expert — for pulley systems, ascenders, and technical rope setups.
