Basewood Hybrid Combo

The Basewood Combo (Spinchboard + Maxgrip) is a modular training setup designed to combine static and dynamic grip training on a single mounting board.
It is suited for climbers who want a multi-tool setup in one place.

What this solves
Using separate tools can create a fragmented setup. Some climbers want both static and dynamic training options without switching between locations.

How this solves it
The Basewood provides a mounting surface for bolt-on tools, while the Spinchboard and Maxgrip introduce both fixed and suspended training options.

Why this tool
This setup combines two different training styles:

• Spinchboard → static grip training (pinch, sloper, pockets)
• Maxgrip Hybrid → dynamic and unstable loading

However, the value comes from combining tools — not from the board itself.

Best for
Intermediate — for climbers who want both static and dynamic training in one modular setup.
